清明节是华人的传统节日，体现中华民族缅怀祖德，修德向上以光耀门楣，身体力行孝道精神；也是家族亲人相聚团圆联系感情的重要日子。每年清明时期吉隆坡广东义山总会迎来大批行清人潮，以温柔的脚步唤醒平日沉静的山头、骨灰塔，祭上悉心准备的餐肴祭品，感念逝者、亲诉衷情。
吉隆坡广东义山从2015年起倡导“绿色清明”，鼓励民众以符合环境永续需求的方式扫墓拜祭，至今已迈入第一个十年期。今年的清明主题是“慎终追远，绿色传承”，鼓励主家扫墓祭祖时首重心意，减少浪费，行孝之余爱护环境。
为了使讯息能够更具体地传达给大家，义山特别制作了这一系17集短视频，希望大家在浏览后感受到爱护环境的具体行动不难，只需要多一点耐性，一人一点，结集众人之力为后代打造安心的生活环境。

The Qingming Festival is a cherished Chinese tradition that honors ancestral heritage, upholds the virtue of self-improvement, and embodies the spirit of filial piety through action. It is also a meaningful occasion for family reunions and strengthening bonds. Every year during Qingming, the Kuala Lumpur Kwong Tong Cemetery Association welcomes large crowds, gently awakening the usually quiet hills and columbarium with their footsteps. They bring carefully prepared offerings and meals to pay tribute to the deceased and express their heartfelt emotions.
Since 2015, the KTC has been advocating for a “Green Qingming,” encouraging the public to observe tomb-sweeping rituals in an environmentally sustainable way. This year marks the first decade of this initiative. The theme for this year’s Qingming Festival is “Pay Tribute to the Past, Pass on a Green Legacy,” emphasizing the importance of sincere remembrance while reducing waste—demonstrating filial piety while also protecting the environment.
To better convey this message, the KTC has specially produced a 17-episode short video series. They hope that after watching, people will realize that taking action to protect the environment is not difficult—it just requires a little more patience. By making small individual efforts, everyone can contribute to creating a safe and sustainable living environment for future generations.
