为纪念马来亚二战人民蒙难八十周年，舞台剧《日据烽火·南侨机工马来亚篇》将于2025年8月16日隆重登场。剧组现正式启动演员公开招募，邀请热爱表演、关心历史的公众参与，共同演绎南侨机工在战火中逆行的动人事迹以及日据时期马来亚人民所受的苦难。
本剧聚焦南洋华侨机工在滇缅公路上的英勇贡献，也重现马来亚日据时期人民在苦难与战火中坚韧不屈的生命力量。选角面试将于2025年5月24日和25日（星期六和星期日）下午1时至5时在广义大厦视听室举行，招募年龄介于20至50岁的男女演员，具表演经验及多语言能力者优先。
光阴流转，硝烟散尽，但历史的回响从未停息。《日据烽火·南侨机工马来亚篇》诚邀有志者以戏剧为媒，传承记忆之火，弘扬和平之声。

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the suffering endured by the people of Malaya during World War II, the stage play “ Malaya Chapter: Japanese Occupation And The Nanyang Volunteers” will premiere on August 16, 2025. The production is now officially launching an open casting call, inviting those passionate about acting and interested in history to join in retelling the courageous stories of the Nanyang volunteers and the hardships faced by the people of Malaya during the Japanese occupation.
The play focuses on the heroic contributions of the Nanyang Chinese volunteers along the Burma Road, while also portraying the resilience and unwavering spirit of the people of Malaya amid war and suffering. Auditions will be held on May 24 and 25, 2025 (Saturday and Sunday), from 1.00pm to 5.00pm at Auditorium Wisma KTC, Kuala Lumpur. Male and female actors aged between 20 and 50 are welcome to apply. Prior acting experience and multilingual ability are preferred.
As time passes and the smoke of war fades, the echoes of history remain. “ Malaya Chapter: Japanese Occupation And The Nanyang Volunteers” sincerely invites all aspiring performers to use the power of theatre to keep history alive and carry forward the message of peace.
