建造殡仪馆
70年代吉隆坡人口众多，尚无一座设备完善的殡仪馆，以供市民停柩之用途，义山管理层有鉴於此，乃於1970年把语文局路旧庙拆除，在原址改建一座二层楼殡仪馆，此项工程共耗资8万馀元。
殡仪馆楼上作为议事厅与休息室，楼下两旁共有6间停尸房，前座则为办事处。接箸再耗资9万馀元在殡仪馆斜对面增建一排商店与食堂。
